Disabled access

If you have any special needs please let our staff know so that we can help and ensure you get the same support in the future.

Passenger drop- off

Cars can drop people off right by the front door. We do ask that vehicles do not wait in this space as we have to have ambulance access at all times.

The front door is accessed by 7 steps with a central handrail

Wheelchair/Pram access is to the left of the building- there is an external intercom where patients can speak directly to staff on the reception desk

Parking

Parking Space is limited.

We have one disability parking bay closest to the building.

We please ask all members of the community to respect this space and not use unless you are a blue badge holder.

Public transport

Bus – Number 86: Piccadilly to Chorlton route stops directly outside the practice

Navigating the building

Assistance dogs. You are welcome to bring your assistance dog. No other animals are permitted in the building.

Wheelchair access to the left of the building leads to a small waiting area with a disabled access toilet facility.

There are no steps to negotiate in the basement so access to treatment rooms should be good for those who use a wheelchair or require extra support walking

Please let the medical team know if you have any access needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

Toilets

Disabled access toilets can be found in the basement level.

Baby changing facilities can be found in the basement level.

There is also a toilet facility on the ground floor of the building right of reception

Hearing difficulties

Please let our reception staff or medical team know if you need extra support we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Ask my GP Online service allows for consultations via email.

BSL interpreters can be booked for face to face appointments.

If face masks are required we can provide plastic see through masks so lip reading can still be used.

We have a  portable hearing loop amplifier kit suitable for counter or desk top use.

Visually Impaired

Please let our reception staff or medical team know if you need extra support, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
